Top Winter Movies: Which is your favorite?

Top Winter Movies: Which is your favorite?

This time of year is characterized by iconic movies that remind us of the holiday season

The Elf: The film boasts a terrific cast, especially Will Ferrell, who pulls out probably one of his best performances to date
as Buddy the Elf. There are lots of hilarious moments and tone is overall very charming and delightful. The visual effects are fantastic, and impressive. The film could arguably be the most quotable Christmas movie of all time.

The Polar Express: The film takes a unique look at believing in Santa and has really entertaining characters. The cinematography is amazing, which captures impressive background colors. There are catchy and unforgettable musical numbers that combine original tunes, including ballads, children’s fun songs with Christmas classics.

Home Alone: Home Alone is one of the most iconic and unforgettable family Christmas films ever released. Nostalgia and holi-
days both have a way of warping emotions. Home Alone is aglow with innocence, playfulness and a refreshing absence of malice, when you get down to the soul of it all. We come to appreciate everything from a youngster’s perspective and that means we get a very special, imaginative understanding of his little world.

Kick back this holiday week with a hot chocolate and a cookie and watch a staple from the history books of great movies.
